Brownstone Lake Outpost Cabin:  Brownstone is one of our better cabins for large groups. The incoming rapids on the north side and outgoing waterfalls on the east, plenty of islands, rocky shorelines, and many weedy bays make it a great lake for large Walleye and Northern Pike. Brownstone also offers two portage-in lakes with abundant Walleye and Northern Pike for those seeking extra adventure.

Headwaters Lake Outpost:  Tied for our most requested outpost, Headwaters Lake is part of the Cobham river system which offers two portages: one to Judy Lake and one to Cobham River. There is a high-quality Fish Management Program in place at the Headwaters Lake. The policy states that consumption of fish is only permitted while the guest is staying at the Outpost. Otherwise, it is CATCH AND RELEASE only. Bring your camera! You will need it to take a photo of you with your trophy fish.

Sumach Lake Outpost Cabin:  Tied for our most requested outpost, Sumach Lake gives you the opportunity to fish for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass and Perch all in the same lake. Our guests know it as a killer Walleye lake with good Trout. Stained water lake. Sumach includes a maintained portage to Mushroom Lake where the fishing is great for Walleye and Northern Pike. You can take home your Conservation Limit but trophy fish must be thrown back on this lake. All Bass fishing is catch and release.

A small fly in lodge dedicated to fishing. Fly in from Red Lake, Ontario, Canada to Douglas Lake in Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park. Remote and comfortable with great fishing. Here you will find Viking Island Lodge, a small fly in lodge dedicated to fishing. It takes a short flight by float plane to reach Douglas Lake from Red Lake. Now you are in Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park. This is a beautiful remote country, renowned for Walleye, Northern, Perch and Lake Trout fishing as well as wildlife viewing. Our 9 portage access lakes are deep, but not huge, and closely connected with plenty of bays, the perfect setting for a relaxed fishing trip. The atmosphere on the island comes from another time, with our upgraded solar system we no longer have a need to use the generator. We have a maximum of 30 guests in camp per week and many have been visiting us for years.
