Amik - Dark Water Lake Outpost

We are happy to introduce to you Dark Water Lake.  Situated on beautiful high sand point amongst a tall pine forest, this new 8 man cabin constructed in 2012, has a breathtaking view of the lake to the east and the west.  Located 55 miles southeast of our base in Red Lake, this easy fishing lake is sure to impress you and your party. Dark Water, hence the name, has tea colored water.

Cobham Lake is located about 130 miles north of our base in Red Lake. This lake and river system are approximately 65 miles long. This means a tremendous amount of bays and creeks are available for trophy Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. We are the only outfitters on the lake and with two Outpost cabins located about 5 miles apart and our Cobham River Cabin 30+ miles  away.  This world renowned body of water is simply the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario.

Located 137 air miles north of Red Lake on the exciting Cobham River System, this 8 man camp offers you exceptional fishing for trophy Northern and Walleye from open water in early spring until late fall ice up. We mean BIG fish. Northern measuring up to 50” have been caught and released on this magnificent fishery.

Amik - Findlay Lake Outpost

Findlay Lake is located 100 miles from Red Lake, Ontario. The lake is approximately 12 miles in length and includes access into Russell Lake. Findlay is a Walleye fisherman’s dream with depths averaging 25′ deep and spots up to 60′. With terrific fishing all season long the Walleyes average 19″ in length with many caught between 22″ and 32″. The largest Walleye noted was 34″ caught and released. The quantity of fish is phenomenal and is great for first time Canadian fisherman and families.

Amik - Loree Lake Outpost

Loree Lake is located 105 miles north of our base at Red Lake, Ontario. It is the only outpost on the lake, so if you are looking for incomparable quantity and fun, Loree Lake is the place for you. Loree Lake is 18 miles end to end and is no wider than 1 mile at the widest point across. It is a very easy lake to fish and is readily recommended for those who love lots of fish. The lake has many rocky points and lots of weed beds and bays. Walleyes average 17″ with many between 18 – 29′”. Northern have been plentiful with some sizable fish between 35″ and 44″ noted.

Jeanette Lake is one of our most trustworthy outpost lakes. This picturesque cabin is surrounded by Canada’s unspoiled boreal forest and is located 70 miles east of our base in Red Lake, Ontario. The 12-man cabin is very spacious and is situated in a well-protected bay near the outlet rapids that flow into Sesikanaga Lake. You will be accommodated in a roomy 3-bedroom cabin. Jeanette Lake outpost boasts 2 propane refrigerators, a chest freezer, a propane stove with oven, hot shower and solar powered lights and water pump.

Vee Lake is the headwaters to the Cobham River System and is located 125 miles North of our base in Red Lake. Our outpost fishing on Vee Lake is a trophy fisherman’s dream. The Cobham River System has long been known for its trophy sized walleye and Northern. Vee Lake, which empties into the Cobham River System contains the same stained water that produces those 25-30″ Walleye and 40″ plus Northern.

Black Birch Lake is located 110 miles northwest of our base at Red Lake. The lake is approximately 18 miles long with numerous bays and creeks flowing into it. The main river, the Black Birch River, flows eastward into Deer Lake. The average depth of the Lake is approximately 18′ – 25′ with depths ranging to 80′.

Cherrington Lake is located 115 miles northwest of Red Lake. The lake itself is approximately 20 miles long. If broken into sections it is easier to describe. The big lake, to the west, is quite large with the water being crystal clear. It is unique because it not only offers fantastic Walleye and Northern fishing but also Lake Trout. 6-person cabin
